How much is a session? The cost of a session depends on the type of shoot you're looking for, as well as any additional options you may want to include. Here’s a quick overview: Family Sessions start at $300. Couples Sessions start at $350. Senior Sessions start at $400. Additionally, each session has options for upgrades such as more photos, outfit changes, and extended time. If you're looking for a custom shoot or event, I’d be happy to discuss your needs and provide a personalized quote. Feel free to check out the Pricing Page for more details on all the packages and add-ons, or Contact Me if you have any questions! I'm happy to help find the perfect session for you.

Do you retouch skin?Yes, I do retouch skin, but only in certain circumstances. I edit out temporary skin imperfections such as acne, scabs, and bruises to ensure you look your best in the final images. However, sunburns and tan lines are much more challenging and time-consuming to edit, so I generally do not alter them in the photos. If you would like sunburns or tan lines edited out, I can absolutely do so for an additional fee. Just let me know ahead of time, and we’ll make sure your photos are exactly how you want them.

What should I expect after my session? After your session, and the fun part is over, its now time to wait. I always send sneak peaks back within the next two days and then your gallery will follow up to three weeks later.
-
Do I get all of the photos or do I have to buy them separately?Marissa Lee Photography prides itself on total transparency. There are no hidden fees or additional charges for your images. Each package comes with rights to the said number of images provided in your gallery. You are able to then print your photos at your own discretion with a third party service.
-
Can I buy prints through you?At this time, I do not offer print services. However, your session price includes the rights to print your images for yourself with a third person company.
-
What should I do to prepare for my session? If you're not sure what to wear or what to bring you can shoot me a quick message about your specific worry. I will gladly answer any questions you have!
-
I have more than one outfit. Where can I change? No need to worry. There will always be a portable pop up changing tent for you to use at your session.
-
What are sessions like?Sessions start at our designated location and from there I will strive to create a fun, free-spirited time in which you might catch me cracking some really bad dad jokes, or gushing over the photos. Sessions are customizable to each client, so if you want to listen to music during or want specific things done we can do just that!
-
What should I wear to my senior photo session?Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable! If you ever need help ask for my senior styling guide.
-
Can I bring props to my session?Absolutely! Feel free to bring props that showcase your hobbies, interests, or sports.
-
What locations are best for senior photos?I can suggest several scenic locations or work with your preferred spots. Think about places that have personal meaning, such as parks, downtown areas, or school-related locations. Otherwise, its important to think about how comfortable you are in front of the camera. You may opt for a less busy area if you are worried about on lookers (but don't worry anyways, they usually will be asking why the photographer is doing *insert something here*)
-
Do you offer hair and makeup services? While I don’t provide hair and makeup services directly, I can recommend trusted professionals to help you get ready for the session.
-
Can family members join the session?Yes, family members can join for a few shots at the end of the session if desired. Please check out my Senior Family Photos Add On.
-
How far in advance should I book? Many seniors opt to book a session for the Summer before the start of their senior year, so this means that to get the best time slots, you should try reaching out to me in the Spring of your Junior year or early summer before your Senior year.
